Pool wasn’t very atmospheric, but a very small problem!

Host: Angela is super-helpful and ever-friendly and contactable - she gave us loads of helpful tips and recommendations for our trip + Angela left a bunch of personalised welcome gifts that were unexpected and a massive treat. Angela also provided a bunch of fruit, breakfast foods, coffee, milk etc - such a lovely touch. (Thanks again!) Location: fantastic; above the cafe/restaurant strip, supermarket underneath, across from beach (amazing views), central to everything at Broadbeach and easy to access rest of Gold Coast Apartment facilities: really beautifully laid-out apartment that suited our family of 5 (2 parents, 2 kids, 1 grandma) perfectly. The apartment has everything you could need/want and the one thing it didn’t have (for us), Angela arranged the next day! (Thanks so much). There’s even things like a boogyboard (bodyboard), tennis kit, and other games etc to keep you entertained. The kitchen includes a coffee machine and all cooking equipment (microwave, oven, stove top, all pots & pans). The living room and deck are huge and beautiful - plenty of space. All linen etc was provided and lovely quality (incl. loads of beach / pool towels). The availability of a washing machine & dryer was also super-helpful as we shuffled from beach to pool to outdoor activities to cafes etc multiple times a day (so we managed to keep everything clean and fresh). Building facilities: lovely pool area + BBQ area, great parking (though a little bit of a mission getting in/out and up) - the apartment has 2 parking spots! The gym is decent too + sauna.

There wasn’t anything about the apartment or host (Angela) that we didn’t love. The only minor (minor!) thing about the building facilities we missed was a spa (we’d have loved to be able to kick back with bubbles / jets).

Two keys between the three of us was a little tricky and one bath towel in the main bedroom bathroom wasn't enough. Otherwise good.

The views and the location were excellent
