Haus Schennach

Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und sehr gemütlich. Eine Terrasse verläuft rundherum, welche einen unvergesslichen Ausblick bietet. Die Bäder waren top modernisiert. Direkter Zugang zum Wald-Wanderweg und Hund war sehr willkommen. Sehr gutes Restaurant in Sichtweite. Top Lage für Ausflüge aller Art. Sehr nette Gastgeber.

We hadden appartement 3, mooi ruim met groot balkon. Badkamers en toilet recent vernieuwd, zien er keurig uit.

Bedden waren matig, matrassen zijn aan vervanging toe. Wat lampjes defect, hadden vervangen mogen worden. Plafond overkapping wordt slecht.

The shoes drier was working little bit weak and snowboard boots were a bit wet.

Apartment was comfortable, quite small, although lounge was a good size, and bedrooms were big enough. Views from balcony were good. The walking and hiking in the region is excellent and easily accessible by car or bus.

Holiday was disrupted by building work in adjoining building. There was noise, dust, paint on car, and the noise continued during the day and into the evening and night. The apartment owners did not show any serious concern nor felt we should have been warned in advance. The kitchen lacks small items commonly found in most other apartments I have stayed in:- the list is long, but includes items such as oven gloves, tea towels, proper bread knife, cheese grater, toaster, lemon squeezer. Light bulbs need changing.

A noisy renovation next door, but that is temporary.

Good location, comfortable beds, quiet, parking. A lovely 25-35 minute walk into Mayrhofen and not on the main road. Access to washing machine. Rooms were cool which was nice as it was very hot outside (ground floor probably helped).

Fan in shower didn’t work very well so although an excellent wet room, it didn’t dry out well so we had to move towels each night into living room to dry them sufficiently for the next day. No microwave although says there is in description.
