location brillant cabin is small but functional beds so uncomfortable virtually unsleepable which was the biggest disappointment. overall cleaness was ok but again just main areas and bathrooms etc bookshelfs very dusty dirty and small things just to pick at from a bad night's sleep like couch throw rug and cusions smelt bad like sweety old body odor needed washing etc but please don't let me make it all sound bad the location was brillant our only regret we probably stayed too long and lack of a good night's sleep probably had us looking at the negatives over the positives but owner had advised us new beds were going in June so maybe book after that and will be a very enjoyable stay.

the beds smelly throw rugs and pillows (needed washing) wifi details incorrect. im guessing from the old unit and guest information book not updated to current details extremely slow wifi once we did get it to work. refrigerator door might need to be fitted opening opposite direction as u have to lean over staircase to open fridge door due to space and could fall down stairs possible dangerous as no globe in staircase light again, small details not hugely important but easily annoying due to lack of sleep on bad beds...

The two bathrooms were a nice feature, but we have really nothing good to say about this place.

I booked this for my parents. They got there and started sending me photos. This property is essentially false advertising. It’s set in a caravan park, which isn’t listed in the description. It’s dirty and smelly, and has mould present in most rooms. The walls have chips and scuff marks. There is sticky tape across the power switches (why??? safety???) and duct tape between the kitchen window and sink. Utterly disgusting. My mum didn’t know how to get in, and contacted the caravan park office. The host then called me directly and asked that we contact her directly because she gets charged $25 each time someone asks a question at the office (I later confirmed this is untrue) There is also a sign that you can’t park out the front as you’ll be fined $25. This is becoming a pattern. And then the host was in constant contact with me and she was getting very emotional because my parents weren’t satisfied with the state of the property, asking if they were normally fussy (they’re not - they’ve travelled a lot) telling that the mould we have photos of was non existent, denying that the place smelled of dirt and mould. Saying she was having anxiety because they were unhappy. Wow. Anyway, my parents left after 20 minutes and I found a nice place very close by for them that they had a great holiday in. The next morning I received multiple messages from the host saying that she’d lost sleep (after refusing a request for a refund because nobody stayed at your property??) and that my parents had been abusive towards her (they hadn’t - they were just pointing out the multiple gross bits to her and I was on the phone with them the entire time she was there) She then proceeded to send me messages all day of other reviews from years ago, telling me how much money she gets from booking.com, telling me how difficult everything was… My goodness! DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. Honestly, I needed a holiday after dealing with this person, and didn’t even get a full refund. AWFUL.

Property is quite snug but has most things you need. Great spot, with lovely views of the lake.

Great location with views over the water & pool (shared as unit is within a caravan park) Close to the main shops and beaches. Hosts were very approachable. Oh & a welcome complimentary bottle of red on arrival & essentials in the cupboard & fridge!
