The unit was easy to find and enter with a door code. Beyond the door was a very welcoming, cosy and warm space to stay. A lot of thought has gone into the decor and a very comfortable king size bed in a large bedroom gave us a good nights sleep. I particularly liked the high quality linen and towels and the underfloor bathroom heating with a fantastic bath to relax in. We were given were two delicious muffins and chocolates. The unit is a short walk into town I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Castlemaine.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at 52Views at 52 Bowden Street, Castlemaine and recommend it to others visiting this historic gold-rush town, located 120 km northwest of Melbourne. Host Bev, who lives on the property with husband Michael, warmly greeted us with delicious freshly-baked muffins, showing us around the spacious air-conditioned and heated apartment which had everything we needed and more than we expected. The bathroom was a revelation, featuring not only a deep bath large enough for two, a shower and his and hers basins but also underfloor heating and towel rails. Home in Melbourne will never seem the same again. The bedroom was warm and quiet with a comfortable king size bed, in which we slept soundly, and plenty of room for hanging clothing and unpacking and storing bags. The kitchenette had excellent facilities for self-catering while other features of the apartment included a Smart TV with streaming and free Wifi. Blinds provided shade and privacy when needed. The smart lock/keyless entry was easy to use. Standing on the deck gave us great views of the surrounding countryside, which was beautfiul. Summing it all up, we were surprised this nugget was missed by prospectors. Catherine and Garry."

Most amazing clean and comfortable little spot to stay. Perfect driveway for single car to park, beautiful bathroom and most comfortable bed I've slept in for a long time!!!!! We will definitely be coming back to stay 100%. Warm cosy and clean. The host was super responsive, even tho we booked last minute. Communication was super clear and friendly.

Bev and Michael’s hospitality and accommodation were excellent; especially the little touches and the quality of their amenities and products. Lovely meeting Molly too! We had a great stay! Already recommending to family and friends.

Superb attention to detail,comfortable and well appointed. Exceptionally good in my opinion,even down to a freshly baked cake and cream on arrival!
