Excellent location for the facilities that Huskisson has to offer ( beach, tours, cafes.) I have ticked it low here in order to catch the eye of other prospective readers contemplating this apartment. The very nice beach is just across the busy road from the apartment .The property is spacious. Surfaces cleaning acceptable. Private parking . It's everything else that isn't right that made our stay extremely disappointing. No-one expects to stay in accommodation with the faults it has, with an owner that doesn't respond to the client or the booking agency used. Buyer beware.

Desperately needs a thorough deep clean and maintenance issues fixed. Tired and unkempt interior. Musty smell throughout our stay. I would suggest some issues are health and safety ones. Lounge. Grubby soft furnishings, ceiling light shade full of dead insects. Curtains do not meet in the middle, patio doors overlook the front and pavement and are very hard to slide open. ( Only way in/out.) Tatty venetian blinds. Kitchen. Large cupboard with unsightly heavy chains and padlock. Dirty, torn and ill fitting ironing board cover. All sorts of opened and duplicated bottles and packets of food in the larder. Tatty venetian blinds. Bathroom. Missing light fitting, dust covered cobwebs, several cracks in a panel of the shower screen, left over toiletries, no hand towels. No window coverings. Toilet. Missing light fitting and broken light. No window coverings, dust covered cobwebs, about 10 sheets of toilet paper left for a 6 night stay. Very loose fitting toilet bowl and seat. Positively dangerous. Bedroom. Tatty venetian blinds. No bedside tables. A drinks trolley is placed on one bedside with a table lamp. Only 2 medium size thin towels left out for us. Noisy. Poor insulation due to the age of the building. You will hear the busy road from 0600, you will hear neighbours TV all hours, you will hear upstairs running shower/bath/washing machine , you will hear neighbours coming and going in the communal entrance . The owner took my call re the light not working in the toilet, the lack of towels and toilet paper, saying it would be addressed. I rather thought that would be the next day, and I couldn't get a response from then. I note previous reviews on same/similar issues so I assume the owner is indifferent. I wish I wish I wish I had read the reviews prior to my stay. I was too focussed on the properties proximity to Husskison to read them after booking it last year.

The location is excellent. The place is a good size for a one bedroom unit. The facilities are basic but the unit was very clean and presented as per the photos used in the advertisement.

When making my booking I overlooked the fact that the unit does not have air conditioning (although I note that a pedestal fan is provided). Given that the unit is on the ground floor, leaving windows open to ventilate the place (for example, during the night to keep the temperature at a moderate level) did raise issues of security for me. Also, the grasp on the bedroom window needs to be checked and replaced. These are the only points I mark the unit down on.

The location was excellent.

This unit was very disappointing. So disappointing we did not stay. $300 a night for stained mats, mouldy couches, kitchen cupboards full of half bottles of sauce and other condiments, chained up cupboards and personal effects in the bedroom.

"Lovely place, great location. Everything I needed for my winter beach break!"

Location was wonderful. Property had everything I needed and was comfortable and tidy.

The parking space for the car seemed awkward to access, but turned out okay. Noise from other units in the block carries through the walls - especially late at night.
