Zoo Villas : Villa Zebra - Central Wynyard

The villa had everything you would need and very clean also very close to shops. This was the best accomadation when travelling around Tasmania

Could have had a dryer maybe but had outside cloths hoist

I don't normally do online reviews - particularly If the property doesn't vary in any major way to what was advertised. On this occasion I believe a review is appropriate - for both the owners, and prospective customers. We have stayed at Zoo Villas several times over the past 5-6 years - each time for roughly 10 days. It is a great location, and we have always been comfortable. We will certainly return again in the future. On our first stay, and subsequent two or three stays, we were impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail. However, on our most recent stay in Nov 2024 we were sorry to see that the previous high standard had slipped, and the same cleanliness and attention to detail was lacking somewhat. eg On entering the property - we found a bird on the veranda which had obviously been dead for some days - the outdoor table and chairs were covered in dust/mud - most surfaces inside the property were also covered in dust - small table, TV cabinet etc - we found human hairs on one of the dining chairs - we found human hairs on the bed sheet - although we clearly booked for 10 days - the soap dispenser only provided body soap for 3-4 days - there was insufficient toilet paper for a stay of this length - the shower head dripped constantly despite our efforts to shut it off tightly - the vacuum cleaner looked like it had never been emptied

Location was good. Bathroom and kitchen were nice.

The information on the listing, the confirmation and emails were incorrect leading me to take my daughter back to her mother early so she didn't have to sleep on the streets at night and I sat outside in the cold until I finally got a response from the manager the following morning. No compensation offered. I will be taking it up with a lawyer.

Great location, very comfortable bed, the villa was roomy, cosy, very comfortable & had everything we needed. Having a washing machine was fantastic too. The seat on the front verandah was great to take our dirty shoes off outside as it had been raining. We loved the pig on the verandah & all the animals next door.

All the creature comforts and central location.

No soap. Just an oversight we suspect, everything else brilliant.
