9/20 Apollo Quay Apartment

The location was great, the apartment was comfortable and had a great water view- complete with dolphins.

I had a bit of trouble sleeping due to traffic noise from the road in the second bedroom.

The apartment was very spacious and clean.

Children riding on the wooden jetty on scooters, very noisy.

The location was excellent and an easy walk to the main waterfront area and the cafes, shops and foreshore facilities.

This apartment did not have a balcony, whereas most apartments did. Not a major issue and there were seats provided at the window.

Perfect location, walking distance to all cafes, shops and bars. Apartment was clean and comfortable and over looks the canal.

A few basics missing from the property like sharp knives, tea towels, we could have brought them ourselves if we had of known. Not all beds were made up even though we weren’t using them, making the last clean look incomplete.

Actually, there was not much to like. The small view of the canals, from the living room, was ok.

There were numerous items to complain about. Our arrival was digital managed by messages, the lock box, entrance gate for the car etc (luckily it was day time, otherwise it would have been almost impossible to access the property, to get in). The kitchen had hardly any utensils, no bread knife, few spoons etc. no salad bowl. The owner did not send the booking paperwork that explained that we needed to bring everything ourselves, no tissues , no teabags, no coffee and no shampoo (a starter pack, in the apartment, would have been nice). No mention was made of 16 stairs to get to the bathroom from downstairs, and stairs to get to the front door. The bathroom had no safety bars, which in my opinion were needed, as shower over bath. Fans connected to lights in the bathroom and toilet, can’t get to the toilet at night.,without light and fan being put on. The bedroom, one side table, with no lamp. Linen, very creased. -would not stay in this group of apartments ever again.
