Longhorn Ranch Apartments

Very well furnished and comfortable

Had everything you need, full kitchen, laundry (not that we needed it), a comfy lounge and, most importantly a comfy bed. It is conveniently located on the highway on the edge of Orbost but wasn't noisy due to the fact that it us set back and above the highway.

My wife had issues whilst we were there, finding it hard to breathe. She obviously reacted to the room freshener or, more likely, hair from previous guests pets. I didn't notice it was 'pet friendly' when I booked, we wouldn't have booked it if I had. My wife has previously reacted to 'pet friendly' venues.

Location was handy, food choices in Orbost were somewhat limited, and the main character hotel seems to be not leased at the moment, which is a shame. Next time we might bring our own food to cook. Hopefully a new owner / leasee can bring it back to life. Amazing tomato and lemon plants on the Longhorn property were a pleasant feature.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Longhorn.. very comfortable bed, great shower, great size apartment and so many little things thought of for the comfort of guests 👏

Unfortunately there wasn’t any internet which was problematic from a work perspective ..luckily we could hot spot our phone
