This apartment features 2 bathrooms, is very spacious, and everything is new. The building is in an excellent condition, the lift!!! You don't need to walk the stairs. The view of the mountains was superb. The balcony as well. They changed towels in the middle of the week! The responsiveness of the team was just fantastic. Phone or email - instant help from the staff.

The fridge was tiny. There were no nonstick frying pans. However, the office provided one after our request.

It was a long way from lifts on icy/slippy side roads carrying skis. We found lockers to rent which made it easier but it would have been so easy for the controlling hotel Alpina to let us know this. The staff in Alpina are not interested in people in the chalet. Their priority is hotel guests. All good when things going well but when the resort has issues there was virtually no help. The resort access road was closed due to snow and we were required to leave to get to hotel at short notice, only to find that there was no info from hotel as to updates. Despite asking we were getting better info from guests at other hotels who were keeping their guests informed. Despite having booked a private transfer for 3 down the mountain we were suddenly informed we were sharing a bus with three families ( who had all been asked if they minded but we were not asked). Others who were asked but refused bus got to airport much faster. A bus takes 15-20 mins longer than a fast car. This delay cost us our flight and another alternative. Having been in this situation before we know there are alternatives We arrived home over 30 hours late after huge expense and movement between airports. Obergurgl is famed for its customer service which we have received from multiple hotels over last 15 years. The Alpina is only interested in their own convenience.

not well maintained. several things did not function properly.
