My wife and I stayed at Haus Sonnenheim for four nights in September. We chose it for its proximity to the AquaDome and ease of navigating up and down the Oetztal Valley. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted and shown our room. The room was clean and comfortable for our purposes. Each morning we received a typical European breakfast with the extra treat of eggs to order and bacon. The service was truly above and beyond. Included in our rental was the Oetztal Summer Card which gave us a number of discounts. We took advantage of two complimentary visits to the AquaDome, a free bike rental, free bus transportation in the valley and free daily rides of the gondolas in Soelden and Obergurgl. As Americans, traveling in Austria can be a little daunting due to the language barrier and we were lucky to speak a little German. Although our German was a little rusty, our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and met us halfway with the communication.

The breakfast was awesome and the host was really welcoming! We liked the sekt and the chocolate for welcoming us in the room. Everthing was exceptional clean. Free Ötztal card is also nice to explore the area, we went to minigolf, bathing in the lake near ötz, drove the lift up the mountain and used public transport, all for free! We would stay again.

Nothing... Maybe, the matress was a bit too soft for me, but maybe i was just used to hard bunk beds in huts in the mountains :D

The breakfast was amazing, the best we had in Austria… we also got a discount for going to the spa and the host was super nice and friendly.

The mattress is not great but the rest was all good.
