Second Home - Leoben

The flatt was very, very clean and well-equipped and spacious(washing machine with capsules, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, hairdryer, etc,.) The flat is in the city center 1 minute from the shopping center and bars and restaurants. You could check-in and out easily with a key safe. There was a courtyard where we could place and lock our bikes! Gift chocolates for the children was a nice sentiment!

I did not like the fact that on booking it stated the tax will be 18euros but upon arrival the host said it would be 30euros as the city changed it on January 1st. Why couldn't the host change this! (he only contacted booking after I complained that I don't think this is fair! I am not poor of course I can pay the differnce but I like it when things happen as promised. Besides this he stated parking is 4.40euros for a day this is also now 6 euros. The host offered me a free drink from the fridge but this was no compensation for me and I did not drink it. The ad also forgets to mention that the flat is on the top floor in the "attic" so you have to climb three floors (if you have disabilities, are elder or with small children think it over) The host should also think about purchasing some blinds for the windows as in the morning it is difficult to rest because of the sunlight streaming through the windows. There is no air-conditioning so beware- top floor can be hot! WE also had to take off the bed clothes ourself (stated in a small booklet)which we did not really understand as we believe this is the hosts job!

Clean & spacious. Lovely apartment.

My mum found the stairs to the 3rd floor a little challenging.
