The Penthouse Mooloolaba, Private Luxury Rooftop Living

The apartment was absolutely mint! A really Killa location. Perfect in every way. Spent 7 nights and loved every moment. Close to the Wharf, the beach, sealife and a quick drive to sunshine plaza or Australia zoo. Rooftop was very enchanting.

The beds was clean & comfortable, the location was easy walking to the beach, shops, restaurants and wharf.

Towel rail broken, I fixed, no handwash after fixing, no bedside lamps in main bedroom, huge mirrored wardrobe door would not stay shut, again I fixed. The hairdryer only blew cold air. The sun lounges on the outdoor roof broken, the 48 steps to the unit became a bit of a bore after a couple of days.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, located close to everything in Mooloolaba, no complaints.

A spacious apartment that had everything we needed for a young family with an active 2 yo toddler. He wouldn't go in the cot, but we could push one of the double beds against the wall to reduce the chance of a fall. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, including some tupperware to store leftovers and a blender, which you don't normally see. Laundry, dryer and a clothesline meant we could wash clothes every day and have them ready the next morning. After we put our son to sleep, we loved having access to the Playstation, X Box and Nintendo Switch as well as streaming services like Netflix, Disney+ etc. Our son loved the rooftop, especially doing movie nights and BBQs, along with some of the games available (like cornhole). Izaak was always contactable and gave us lots of great recommendations for where to eat. He was also flexible when it came to checking in, and where we could store our bags before our departing flights, which we really appreciated. The location is also A+. It's a 5 minute walk to the marina, which has a heap of restaurants and bars as well as the Sea Life Aquarium, and then just a minute further to Mooloolaba's foreshore, which has even more places to eat and drink, as well as playgrounds. Bus stop is just around the corner, which we used to visit Sunshine Plaza in Maroochydore for a day out (about 20 mins away on the bus). We were given keys to the garage, which we didn't need as we didn't have a car. Access to the apartment involves a digital lock, which is easy to use and saves the hassle of needing to take keys with you when you leave. We'd definitely stay again. Thanks Izaak!

Families with young kids, and prams, should note that the penthouse is on the third floor and there is no elevator. We didn't find it too much of a problem but appreciate this is something others would like to know about.

It was expensive. Also we had thought from description that we had private pool and rooftop terrace but infact pool was a small shared one on complex, and roof terrace was accessible to all. Also broken day bed and no sofa covers on roof terrace a minor inconveniance, but given the price (over $2000 for a three night stay) not unreasonable to expect.
