Small kitchen with no oven but everything you need to eat in when you want to.

Great location, right next to the gondola, a spacious and comfortable apartment. Also, there is supermarket at the same building. Excelent wi-fi.

It would be nice if there were a microwave and an espresso machine - just a sugesstion.

Das Piccard Obergurgl liegt in einem mittelgroßen Appartementgebäude am Ortseingang von Obergurgl, wenige Meter vom Zugang der Festkoglbahn entfernt. Morgens kann man fast in die Gondel rein fallen und abends mit Skiern fast bis zur Wohnungstür fahren. Für Skifahrende also eine super Lage. Das Haus verfügt über einen Skiraum mit Schuhheizung, der einen separaten Eingang zur Hauptstraße hat und damit in wenigen Schritten bei der Talstation. Der Haupteingang ist zu einem Innenhof, an den zwei Hotels und ein Supermarkt grenzen. In diesem Innenhof ist ein inkludierter Privatparkplatz für das Appartement Piccard. Der benachbarte kleine Supermarkt hat Mo-Sa ab 7:30 Uhr geöffnet und bietet auch frische Backwaren. Sonn- und Feiertags nur Nachmittags geöffnet. Das Appartement liegt im 1. OG des Hauses und ist gepflegt und sauber. Das Schlafzimmer ist geräumig mit bequemen Betten, Kleiderschrank, kleinem Schreibtisch, Garderobe und sehr großem Flachbildschirm an der Wand. Eine Türe zum Balkon ist vorhanden. Das Wohnesszimmer hat ebenfalls eine Türe zum Balkon, verfügt über eine kleine Küchenzeile sowie einen kleinen Esstisch und Garderobe. Die Couch kann zu einem schmalen Bett für zwei Personen umgebaut werden. Das Badezimmer ist klein mit Waschbecken, WC und Dusche. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin ist unkompliziert und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für Obergurgl sehr gut. Für zwei Personen optimal. Für drei Personen gut geeignet und bei einer Belegung mit vier Personen muss man sich gut verstehen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Piccard nur empfehlen.

Wenn das Gebäude im Winter voll belegt wird, kann es vorkommen, dass nicht für alle Gäste eine Schuhheizung für die Skischuhe zur Trocknung frei ist. Beide Balkontüren sind zur Straßenseite hin, so dass man morgens ab etwa sechs Uhr an Werktagen Lieferverkehr hört, wenn man bei gekippten Türen schläft. Beide Aspekte jedoch Jammern auf hohem Niveau. .

Great place to enjoy skiing in Obergurgl!

Wspaniała lokalizacja, sklep spożywczy na parterze, 50 metrów do stacji gondoli, 200m do pizzerii. Własne miejsce parkingowe. Pojadę tam z chęcią jeszcze raz!

W budynku jest dość głośna akustyka, jeżeli ktoś bardziej hałasuje, niesie się to przez ściany.

The location could not be better. It's directly next to the base station for a high speed gondola that takes you up Obergurgl. This is a true ski in/ski out property. The apartment is cozy and comfortable, and has the correct feel for a ski lodge. Communications with the owner were always friendly and helpful. Check in instructions were clear, and the room was very clean. A nice, hospitable place, and a better option than staying in a hotel.

My only minor gripe would be limited space in the ski cellar. There weren't enough boot racks or ski hangers, so guests sometimes had to put boots on the floor and lean skis on the wall. We did go during one of the busiest times of year, so it may not always be so crowded in there.
