Location was amazing looking over the whole of Townsville. Close to the strand and to the city center. The property itself was impressive.

"Beautiful views, but an intrusive and unprofessional host."

The views

The host monitored us through cameras inside the property and even sent threatening text messages. He also attempted to direct us to external links outside of Booking.com, which were unrelated to our booking.

"Kicked out early and not through booking.com either do not stay here!!!!"

Do not stay here property owners will kick you out for having a drink on balcony with family members for a wedding anniversary very strict we were even told by property owners they couldn’t hear us was just somone drinking on balcony also owner has cameras all throughout property so if u like privacy don’t stay here and they watch you like a a hawk save ur money and spend it elsewhere

Remote controlled bedroom blinds 😁 USB points incorporated into power sockets in bedrooms. Balconies for every room and level. Absolute delight to see this place on arrival.. when you walk in and see... Ohhhhhhhhh

No Matt's or rugs. Shoes off policy. Very much dislike walking on floors barefoot. Let alone floors that have not been cleaned by me 😅 (floors were very clean looking but cold and hard on bare feet. No door to block the spray of water when showering. And a cool breeze comes in through the opening

"Liked the house"

The house is beautiful, rooms are huge, bathroom and shower in ensuite is massive and very well appointed, The fridge, washing machine, downstairs BBQ area all fabulous.

It took a while (1.5hrs from booking) for the door codes to be sent and we had to wait around the property, call booking.com, and leave messages with the host for that time, even though it was 4pm. Last-minute bookings may have this issue until resolved.
