Villa Eight

The villa was spacious and comfortable and very close to the centre of Kalbarri, which is a great little town. It was great to have laundry facilities too.

The people in the villa next to us were smokers and their cigarette smoke kept wafting into our villa, on two evenings making it very difficult to sleep. I don't understand why smoking is allowed in any holiday accommodation – it makes it so unpleasant for non-smokers. The villas are also not very soundproof and we could hear a lot of noise, raised voices and loud swearing last into the night from the same neighbours.

Location was great

The host sent us the wrong code to access the key, and didn't respond to the mobile, we had to spend more than an hour behind the locked door and try a random combination to open it.

Kitchen and bathroom need to be renovated

clean, well stocked kitchen, nice villa, great location aircon in main bedroom worked great. was nicer than I anticipated based on the photos and description

Pool was a bit dirty and starting to grow green algae at one end. Everyone was still swimming in it so I assume it was ok. Pillows were clean but very uncomfortable Villa was a bit dated being an older building e.g. not many power points (likely due to the villa being built in the days before mobiles etc became common place) Aircon in two bedrooms but not main living area (ceiling fan in lounge though)

The location was close to all the shop and the beach, it was an excellent place to stay my whole family enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for a family nice a private with great kitchen to use available.
