A Little Slice of Fremantle One Bedroom Character Apartment

The property was well presented, clean and the owner had gone to a lot of trouble leaving treats in the unit such as chocolate,cola in the fridge it was a pleasant surprise.

NO AIR CONDITIONING. Day of arrival 38 degrees averaged 30+ for our very uncomfortable 11 day stay. A portable evaporator air con unit would have been a blessing. No effort was made to change the sheets or towels which by the way, were very rough.

Nice apartment in a good location for a great price. Lots of personal touch.

Interesting nautical theme, though perhaps a bit over done. An individual taste thing I guess

Kitchen sink area & bathroom quite dated. OK but ...! Very narrow doorways to shower and toilet (<2 ft). Toilet door latch has a squarish metal catch plate that sticks out from the door frame (made worse by the narrowness of the doorway). Wife got a bruise one time and, another time a small cut on her arm from the catch plate. Owner advised but no response/comment back re that. Alternative door latch needed with no sharp projections.

Location was a little ways out of Fremantle but as weather was good , the walk to the centre of Fremantle was pleasant

Accommodation was very good and comfortable. The apartment is very well equipped and thanks for the generous supply of tea , coffee and soft drinks

The food Wayne had left for breakfast was great.The apartment was clean tidy & comfortable.Was great to be able to use the bikes but tricky to find where the keys for the locks were so again rang Wayne

I did not receive an email re how to access the keys until after we left to go to Perth so had to ring Wayne to try and work out how to get them from the lock box.Would be good to send email several days before stay
