St Helens On The Bay

Loved the location. Very spacious apartment.

We had the downstairs unit and could constantly hear the heavy footsteps from the upstairs guests. The toilet had a weird smell.

Everything about it was great - the space, rooms, comfort, linen, facilities, cleanliness, and value. We also met the host as we checked out and she was absolutely lovely.

The walls/ceiling between apartments were a bit thin. We were at Apt 2 and there were guests checking in at Apt 1 (upstairs) just after we did and you could almost hear everything that went on from our apartment. We were lucky they weren’t noisy late at night or anything like that but if you’re a light sleeper and not as lucky as we were, it may be an issue.

Nothing supplied eg salt pepper, no kitchen basics at all Insufficient toilet paper, dishwashing tablets No spare tea towels/cloths (not ideal when asked to have all dishes washed) No vacuum No spare towels or washing powder for the washing machine, not good for a four night stay Very disappointing for the price paid

Great spot, amazing spacious accommodation, central to everything. Lovely stay.

Shower arm at wall attachment point in main bathroom was faulty and made showering almost impossible. Attempt at tightening failed.
