Beautiful underground experience

It was very clean, cool even in January, lovely place to stay.

Amazing to experience ‘living’ in an underground accommodation. The property was in a good location off the main strip and was beautifully maintained.

Both of us found the mattress topper too soft, making the bed uncomfortable as we rolled into the middle each time we moved. Also, we needed a clothes drying rack but there wasn’t one, so we could only wash one or two things at a time and had to put them over the backs of chairs to dry.

The friendly service from cleaner mick was exceptional. He and his wife are marvellous people

Loved the location — close to everything. Picked up some beautiful opal earrings and enjoyed local pizza. Considering it was a heatwave, it was unbelievable how cool it stayed inside. The bed has to be the softest I’ve ever slept in. Really loved that it was dog-friendly too. Would absolutely stay again

Very minor negatives and probably things most people wouldn’t notice. The front curtain was broken so we couldn’t fully shut it. The bathroom floor tiles were quite slippery — I have a broken foot so it made it a bit tricky, but for most people it likely wouldn’t be an issue. Easily fixed with non-slip mats.
