The Nook

Beautiful tidy little romantic place

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in The Nook. The place is closely located to at least 2 beaches(1 minute walk away from Aldinga Beach, 5 minutes drive from Port Willunga beach), it also offers a beautiful view of the sunset from the dining space. Crystal and Russ' thoughtfulness and attention to detail were evident within the space, it made living in the Nook so comfortable, we felt like we lacked nothing during our stay. Apart from the welcome gift (wine and nuts) and Netflix, we were surprised to find additional facilities like a steam iron, a coffee machine with pods provided, kids toys, picnic/beach items and even a stocked pantry of little goodies and drinks readily available. This place was more than what we could asked for and it definitely gave more than what we paid for.

Something very minor - the bathroom floor gets wet due to the design of the shower space, i.e. some water spills/flows out easily. Request for additional floor mats if you like to keep the floors dry.

Great layout, spacious, lovely view, comfortable lounge, perfect dining area.

Kitchen equipment light on - eg. no bread & butter plates Didn’t like the plastic backed mattress protector. Understand the need to protect the mattress but would be much more comfortable with another softer & thicker one on top. Also would be good to have a reading lamp on both bedside tables. Located on a busy corner so traffic noise a bit annoying but the bedroom shutters kept noise out at night.

Outlook from the property was very pleasant, looking out to the ocean. Accomodation was clean, quirky & nicely styled. Everything was provided to make our stay comfortable.

Location was on a corner intersection & at times a little noisy from traffic. Would have been nice if the hosts had introduced themselves.

Fantastic location with amazing views. The accommodation was beautifully furnished with plenty of room. An ideal place to spend a holiday.

Amazing location, near the beach but in a quiet part of town. Property clean, nicely fit out and comfortable for two! We also met our lovely hosts and they were very helpful with recommendations!
