Jewel of Brooklyn - Hawkesbury River Marina

Loved the location, friendly locals and staff, fantastic view and great general ambiance. The kitchen was well equipped, the living/dining area was vast, and 2 of the 3 bedrooms were superb. The bathrooms were wonderfully spacious too. The proximity to the Riverboat Postman was great too - we highly recommend a trip!

The 3rd bedroom (with bunk and cot) was very dusty and I could not sleep in there due to developing asthma and sneezing. I would recommend that bed linen and pillow/cushion covers be washed and changed and put on fresh a day or so before new guests arrive. The cover of the main sofa was quite marked and dusty, and the cushions were rather dusty too.

No food supplied. Location very good. Host very helpful. Would stay again.

Air cond not working , window curtains hard to use , sliding door onto deck off its track , so could not lock doors. Enough fire wood for about an hour. Potplants on deck dead or dying. Roof leaked during rain.

Inside was well furnished and great layout.

Mould on blinds and sill in main bedroom, all windows and doors need a clean. Plants on balcony were half dead and untidy. The area down stairs is very untidy and unloved, needs a freshen up.

Location and water aspect excellent. Easy access to cafes and restaurants. Every room has its own bathroom. Huge verandah.

A bit run down and needs freshening up. Car parking was advertised as being included but other cars were constantly parked in our spot and staff had to be contacted to remedy the issue while we waited around. Given the cost of the accommodation this is not acceptable.

Fantastic position. Management so responsive to an issue when we arrived. Really thankful for their help.

Furnishings getting a bit tired.

The entire place needed a good clean The balcony was awful and the furniture inside and out were stained and all the rugs needed to be thrown away The kitchen was dirty and I was not interested in using anything before they were washed by me I don't spend $1200.00 for 2 nights to find what I did Very disappointing

Was a bit noisy some mornings when people were going on fishing trips
