This apartment is part of the Peppers Ocean Beach Club, right on the shore at Port Douglas. It’s in an excellent position, right on the front with Ocean views to the front and Pool Views from the bedrooms. 2 large terraces and a large living area provide plenty of relaxation areas. It’s quiet, well equipped and was very comfortable for our family of 4. Car parking right downstairs was easy. The pool is fabulous for kids of all ages, plenty of noodles / toys provided and lots of space to play.

There is very poor internet coverage. My own phone network coverage wasn’t great and the apartment has no NBN, only a wifi ‘dongle’ that was supposed to be in the kitchen but I couldn’t find it anywhere. I was supposed to be studying online but was unable to get the wifi to connect. I emailed the agency who said they would come out to look at it the following day, but no one ever came. If you need a good internet connection for work do not stay here. We were surprised that there is only one small shower room for the whole apartment. We spent 5 nights in total at the apartment and it wasn’t serviced at all in that time. We were provided with 1 sachet of dishwasher powder and a couple for the washing machine. Peppers staff are really very unhelpful if you’re in a ‘Private’ apartment. They are very clear that they don’t want the headache of ‘extra’ guests so essentially turned us away when we asked for information. I asked them if I could buy / borrow a sachet of dishwasher powder on our last night and they couldn’t have been less helpful. This is obviously out of the owners / agencies control but is just something to be aware of.

The apartment is in Pepper Club Beach, guest can use the pool. The location is great, plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops nearby. Palm Cove beach is just few steps away.
