Ladybugs Apartments

I had a very pleasant stay at Ladybugs Apartments. One of the things I appreciated the most was how quiet it was at night. I usually travel with earplugs to sleep in hotels or apartments, but here I didn’t need them at all. It was very peaceful, comfortable and easy to sleep well. Another big plus is the location near Superfood Hypermarket, only about 3 minutes’ walk away. The apartment does not include breakfast, but that was not a problem at all, especially considering the accommodation is very good value for Aruba. Superfood has a great breakfast selection every day at very reasonable prices, with plenty of options to choose from. The nearby bus stop, about 8 to 10 minutes’ walk away, is also very convenient for getting around the island. When I needed a taxi to the airport, the owners were very helpful and arranged it easily, for the standard island price. I also really appreciated that they provide proper beach towels. I always travel with a light one, but in windy Aruba, their heavier towels were much more practical for the beach. The apartment was very comfortable and cleaned.

The only downside for me was that there is not much around the apartments in terms of places to go out, eat or enjoy a bit of evening atmosphere. So if you like having restaurants, bars or a lively area within walking distance, this may feel a little limited. You can always get a bus or taxi to go to the Palm Beach area. There were also a few basic things missing, such as power sockets next to the bed and a small bedside light. They may seem like minor details, but they are useful and usually expected in most accommodations. Another downside was the cleaning schedule. The apartment was very clean when I arrived, but it is only cleaned every three days, so during my seven-night stay, the room was cleaned once. Extra cleaning was available for $25 each time. I am a tidy person, but during a beach holiday, sand is hard to avoid, and since there was nothing available to clean it myself, this was a little inconvenient.

La ubicación es excepcional. Cerca de superfood donde además de hacer compras podes desayunar, almorzar y cenar a un excelente precio. También queda muy cerca de eagle beach, la playa que más nos gustó de Aruba. A pocas cuadras también se encuentran lugares para alquilar autos. La atención de Barbara fue muy buena y atenta durante toda la estadía.

Todo estuvo muy bien. Lo que hubiera mejorado la experiencia es que cuente con un microondas o pequeña cocina.

Location is amazing, just a 10 minute walk from Eagle Beach and around the corner of a big supermarket. Beds are comfy and studio apartment is spacious enough

Room is bad lit in both ways: Not enough light at night, too much light during the morning. When raising the latter to the receptionist they mentioned "there's nothing that can be done about God's sun"; but I'm sure blackout curtains can be bought in Aruba. The hot water in the shower was not working, a fix was not offered, only a late checkout (which we appreciate and accepted)

Que no tengan reposeras-heladerita -sombrilla para la playa y que no tengan para cocinar algo afuera(parrilla)

Cercanía al supermercado y cerca de la playa la atención excelente de todo el personal. La relación precio calidad. Recomendable 100% si queres gastar poco y playa tranquila. Si buscar ir a palm beach un colectivo por 2,50 dolares a unas 4 cuadras muy tranquilo y seguro

Tolle Lage. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3 Minuten zu Fuß) befinder dich der Supermarkt Superfood, der mit allem Möglichkeiten her ausgestattet ist. Man kann in der dortigen Cafeteria auch frühstücken, normal Essen oder Kaffeetrinken. Außerdem sind noch zwei weitere Supermärkte mit noch längeren Öffnungszeiten fußläufig zu erreichen. Zum Eagle Beach sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Außerdem war das Zimmer groß und es war sehr ruhig, was sicher aber such von den anderen Gästen abhängt.

Zimmer wird nur alle 3 Tage gereinigt. Das reicht im Prinzip auch, aber bei unseren 6 Nächten hatten wir nur eine Reinigung. Ist vielleicht etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, wenn man es anders kennt. Der Kontakt war eher nüchtern und professionell. Kein Problem, könnte aber etwas warmherzig sein.

El lugar es muy cómodo con ese jardin para pasar el rato, cerca del supermercado, y la atención del personal siempre respodiendo.
