English Gardens - Forest Spa Suite

Beautiful location and the owners were so kind and accommodating and made great food and coffee at their cafe. The cottage we stayed in was super cute and we loved the bath and fireplace and the fact that it had a kitchen. The gardens are absolutely lovely and the creeks and waterfalls running through the property made it feel extra serene and special. It's only a few metres away from some nature walks with gorgeous views from the top of the mountain too. We will definitely stay again!

There isn't much to not like. It's just a bit chilly in the winter season, which is to be expected, but the fireplace and heaters in all the rooms make it comfortable and cozy.

Its a quite relaxing place food is amzing

The best word to describe it is authentic. Spacious, rustic, charming, and comfortable, it has a character all its own. There’s nothing modern or pretentious about it—and that’s exactly what makes it so appealing. We loved its uniqueness, the quirky details, and its undeniable cuteness. Most of all, we felt truly secluded, which made the whole experience even more special.

If we had to mention one thing, it would be that, as with many true country homes, there are some worn areas, roofs dotted with leaves, and a yard scattered with tools and storage items. A little extra tidying would make it even nicer. That said, we actually felt this added to its rustic, lived-in charm, and the garden areas and the suite themselves were lovely — we really appreciated the authenticity.

Just so cold - the kitchen, bathroom and dining room could only be used when absolutely necessary. Probably quite different when it's not mid winter. The cabin itself is very rustic in nature.

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights at the Forest Spa Suite. The location was excellent, close to major attractions at Springbrook, very quiet and secluded. The gardens around the cottage was very pretty as well. We did have a couple of issues during our stay but the hosts were very responsive and did their best to resolve. The fireplace was fantastic during the cold nights.

While we were comfortable at the unit, it is now very dated particularly in the bathroom with cracks on the walls especially near the shower/tub. The place needs a bit of work to bring it up to the standard of similar places around the area. We were told not to use the spa on our first night due to fresh repairs the day before, very disappointing given I booked the place for the spa. I wasn't warned in advance. Also the toilet didn't flush the next morning and the host had to come and empty the tanks underneath the unit, not a great experience for the money paid! I really wanted to like this place and while the hosts were good, it is clear that the place is starting to fall apart and they are unable to keep maintaining it.

Perfect location for a quiet getaway in the mountains.
