Eden Apartments Unit 401

While there was a minimal view of the ocean- there was a maximum view of multiple construction sites.

It was NOT clean, the couch, carpet and bed head in particular were grimy and filthy. The towels didn’t dry. While the agents were willing to send in steam cleaners, the apartment was damp and smelled already.

Great location, close to facilities, everything we needed.

We were in Unit 401 of Eden Apartments, The location was excellent, within a short walking distance of cafes, the beach, and just 5–10 minute walk to town. The pool was nice, though we rarely used it because of how close the beach was. There is plenty to do in the area other than going to the beach.

Unfortunately, the accommodation itself was disappointing. It was in need of a thorough deep clean and some much-needed maintenance. The couches, bed head, rugs, and carpets were well overdue for dry cleaning, and the bed cushions were visibly dirty and should have been replaced. The grout in the bathroom needed attention, and while the ensuite included a spa bath, the hot tap didn’t work. The reception staff seemed indifferent, showing no interest or engagement with us when we checked in/out which was a missed opportunity for better service. Despite the issues, the area itself had plenty to offer, and we were able to enjoy our stay. However, given the cost of the accommodation, some improvements are essential to bring it up to standard.
