Thermal isolation of the small house (pretty cold at night), a bit influenced by river also Staff interaction (a bit more would be appreciated)

Everything about my stay at Alfa in Kulen Vakuf was excellent. The hosts, Nada and Tahir, were kind, welcoming and went above and beyond to help me before and during my stay. They provided me with local bus information that I couldn't find on the internet and Tahir even drove me to Martin Brod so I could spend the day exploring the waterfalls. The accommodation is a wonderful, rustic hut in Nada and Tahir's back yard. They're available if you need them but also respectful your privacy. The hut itself is an absolute delight. It's right on the river and that in itself was a 10/10 experience for me. It has three single beds and a simple kitchen area with a kettle, cutlery, glasses, mugs and some coffee and tea making supplies. There's no stove or ability to cook but there are two restaurants and two small supermarkets within a minute or two’s walk, and there's a small fridge on the outdoor balcony. The bathroom is clean and has a toilet, shower and sink. If you're tall you might struggle a little with the space but at 165cm I had no trouble. Towels are provided. The bed was comfortable and bedding is provided. There's a lamp and power point next to the bed, space to hang jackets as you enter, and there’s an air-conditioning unit (but I didn’t need to use it). WIFI is provided. It's not fast internet but honestly, you don’t stay here to spend time on your computer or phone - you relax and spend time on the balcony enjoying the river. Falling asleep listening to the river was an absolute delight too. I noticed in another review someone mentioned about there not being any curtains. That's true, which for privacy isn't ideal. Having said that, being able to lay in bed and look out at the water is pretty special and for me a sleep mask fixed the issue of light in the morning so I could sleep a little later if I wanted to.

There's nothing I didn't like, it's a lovely spot. Some people may like or prefer having curtains or the ability to cook. I was okay not having those things so I could be on the river. I enjoyed it and would stay again.

Udobno, terasica s pogledom na Uno. V bližini restavraciji z dobro hrano, po ugodnih cenah. Nudita tudi zajtrke. Coasy, terrace with a nice view on the Una river. Near of the accommodation are two restaurants with good food, which offers also breakfasts, all by good prices.
