The Loft on Main Street

We really love The Loft. The location, in particular. It had a retro feel and decor.

The property should probably describe the place a bit better so that expectations are met. There is only one bathroom, and it is an ensuite in one of the rooms, so if you were 2 x couples, you have to walk past a sleeping (or otherwise lol) couple in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.

We loved that it was so central that we could walk to everything, which allowed us both to have a couple of drinks and not worry about who was going to drive home.

Was the only local accommodation for the last min trip we booked.

The cafe immediately behind the main bedroom started blasting music from 7am which wasn't ideal post getting in late the night before. The place has zero cooking facilities and is super noisy as anyone walks around it. The loft had heating pumping all weekend, but certian windows are stuck open and let all the cold air in. Large amount of noise transference from the main street below. There was a random open milk bottle in the fridge, and evidence the place hadn't been properly cleaned since the last guests. As others have mentioned, the whole bathroom only being accessible by the one room was a lot. While initially when reading the info it seemed as though it'd be fine, it doesn't factor in how different parties feel about being overhead/hearing others use the bathroom. Also a super odd lock on the second bedroom
