Exceptional location, host and apartment. Fabulous living area and the bedrooms were great for a family of 4 (even with 2 big teenagers). Fridge and kitchen so you can cook a meal if you choose. We loved being across from the Castle and the fact that we could walk around the old town. Sara showed us through the apartment and gave us good recommendations for places to eat, do some washing (we stayed 5 nights!) etc. This was a great location to allow exploring of Ghent, as well as day trips to Ypres, Bruges and Brussels.

Only minor thing was that there was no washing machine, but a laundromat was close by. This was really only an issue due to our length of stay.

Lovely apartment right in the center of Ghent. Living space is huge ! Comfy beds and quality linen. Excellent coffee too. Parking was not on site but a short walk and not too expensive. Very convenient location but also no night-time noise despite being so central.

Great location. Opposite Gravesteen castle and tram station. Check in process was easy. Apartment was well supplied and stocked with essentials.

The owner was rude and yelled at us for checking out at 10.15 am instead of 10 am! In contrast, the only lights above dining table didn't work, we ate in darkness and still told the owner that it was okay if an electrician was not available. Also the apartment is on first floor with a narrow staircase so luggage might be an issue. Bathroom is accessible from two bedrooms but there is no lock so family members need to be careful.

The best thing about this place is its perfect location. Right by the castle and a short walk from the centre of Ghent. The apartment itself is open and light, with all the equipment one could need on holiday. The bunk beds were fine for two adults, although probably most suitable for kids.
