Cozy studio close to Zaventem Airport

I have never stayed in such a filthy and poorly maintained place in my life. This so-called “studio apartment” was completely unhygienic and nothing like what was advertised on Booking.com. The moment we arrived, we were shocked by the condition of the place. The toilet was not cleaned, the kettle was dirty, the floor hadn’t been swept or mopped, and the sofa was torn. There was even a dead, dried-out plant left in the room, which speaks volumes about how neglected the property is. The balcony and entrance were full of trash, which made the entire environment feel unsafe and extremely unpleasant. Switchboards were damaged, and the general state of disrepair was alarming. Honestly, I was concerned for our safety staying there. To make things worse, the owner was completely unresponsive. We tried to get in touch multiple times to raise concerns, and there was no reply whatsoever. No support, no accountability. The listing also falsely advertised several amenities that were not provided. There was no hairdryer, no soap, no iron box, and absolutely no basic consideration for guests’ comfort. It’s a clear case of misleading information on the booking. This was a very disappointing and stressful experience during our trip to Brussels. I have taken photos of everything as proof and will be reporting this further to Booking.com directly. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this property. It is not worth your time, money, or peace of mind.

The appartement is nice and not too far from the city centre.

The cleanness of the whole apartment was awful, the bathroom, the bed linen... We found 2 cockroaches during our stay. The heatings stopped working during the first night, so it was quite cold, no answer received about this, so bad customer service. There was a tobbaco smell. We found a knife on the floor of the living room... Only 1 roll of toilet paper, no washing-up liquid...

The studio is roomy enough for 2 persons. There is a Netflix account you can use!

The moment when we entered the studio there was a lingering smell of cigarett smoking! We really had to open and ventilated the room! Even thereafter the smell was absorber in the bedding! There where laying ashes on the coffee table. Dont even get me starter about the hygiene in the bathroom. The shower drain and wall was full hair of probably a long hair black woman. Only one small towel when we booked the room for 2 persons. I contacted the owner but didn t get any response! I would be ashamed to rent this place to people in that condition. The owner also need to update there accomodation facility list. I suppose he/she hangs out there from time to time. In the cabinets in the kitchen was some food if you would like to eat. The refrigerator was pulled out so that was also not a good smell! There is no ventilation in the bathroom or kitchen for cooking. I would not recommend this place. I also got a parking ticket !

The location was nice, also the price was good.

There was a huge huge bad smell coming from shower sink hole. Whole appartment stinks, but if you close the bathroom, then next time you wanna take shower you will be hit with insane bad smell. And those gasses from pipepines are probably toxic. The water drainage system had to be tixed! There might be big amount of C02 coming from it, its dangerous.
