"Perfect apartment for a short stay in the middle of historic Bruges."

10.0

The apartment is perfectly located, very close to the centre, but in a side road so it is a little quieter. The bedrooms are both a good size, and the top floor living area was spacious and comfortable.

Nothing - it was lovely.

"Good"

7.0

Excellent location

Be aware that the location means noise from traffic from the early hours onwards especially on weekdays morning. Plan parking in advance as road closures (Christmas market) makes things far challenging.

"Great"

Clean fresh historical (just watch the stairs if you’re of a certain age…)

Lacks light in the living/kitchen area (but it’s an old building so to be expected)

"Amazing location in a beautiful city."

8.0

Amazing location in the centre of Brugge, close to the public car parking garage (15e per day), with no noise disturbance at night or in the early morning.

"Superb"

Location and size are very good. Decoration is interesting. Kitchen is well equipped.

The bathroom was very smelly, maybe the house has not been used for a while, bad smell from the sink or the shower, putting some kind of air freshener would certainly help.

"Excellent location Freezing on a Winter stay if heating fails"

6.0

Excellent location a lot of major attractions within walking distance

Heating system broken For February in -1 to -3 C this was unacceptably cold and we ended up sitting under duvets in the living room to keep warm Followed all the thermostat instructions and couldn’t get radiators on.No answer on the phone when we called Left several written messages via the website Not fixed until second night:was told “there was an error on the new boiler”Had read other reviews mentioning heating issues so was hopeful it wouldn’t be an issue for our trip Unfortunately it was.I responded to an email from the property Management company sent afterwards requesting feedback from us about our stay to explain the issue and how it negatively impacted our trip.No response.I also separately emailed their head office. No response.

"great apartment for a couple but not for young kids"

7.0

Excellent location in the centre of Bruges - close to Market & Burg squares. facilities in apartment were good - two great sized bedrooms and very comfortable beds.

I wouldn’t recommend apartment if you are travelling with small children - we have a one year old and found that:- 1) Because of how old the building is, apartment is single glazed so you hear everything outside - not idea for trying to put a baby to sleep. 2) Blinds in bedroom don’t keep light out - again, far from ideal for above. 3) Apartment is 1st floor, up narrow flight of stairs so taking large buggy up and down isn’t practical - while it can be done, it’s inconvenient. 4) “sofa” in living area is actually an old single bed with some pillows - mattress slips constantly & isn’t too comfortable - could do with being replaced with an actual sofa.

"filthy and smelly"

1.0

location excellent

it’s a nice historical building but that doesn’t mean it should not be cleaned we asked for a cleaner to come and clean it and they said they would and never came .had to go and buy bleach for toilet and sink it was disgusting the place stank and was dirty we ended up with bites from bugs the place was filthy and unloved, shame as it could be a hidden gem instead it was a hidden nightmare
