Bruges Brujas holiday house

This apartment was fantastic, and from start to finish, the owner, Tom, was great with communication. The location was perfect, not too close to the city, but close enough to have a lovely stroll in. The apartment was very comfortable and cosy, with every facility you could want. There were roadworks going on outside, but this did not spoil our holiday. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The only thing was the roadworks, but that was unavoidable and out of the owners hands. The road will be great when it's finished.

Great location if you usually like to walk around the city. The mills from Bruges are very close to it and city center is not that far away by foot. Free parking lot at around 8min walking from the house if you don't want to bother using the parking system it's in place there. Beds are comfy and windows have pitch black electric roller blinds if you're a fan of having no light in the room at night. Also the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need. Cheers to the host for leaving us 2 beers in the fridge at arrival, they were greatly appreciated Host is friendly and all interaction there was good

We were not informed of the construction that's going on there until the last day before we arrived. A neighbor approached us when we were leaving in one of the days telling us various good tips about the city and telling us that this information about the construction was known for along while. The house was literally shaking like in a earthquake all of the mornings we stayed there due to the construction on the street. Would've appreciated the information about this beforehand since we were also with a stroller

Very comfortable apartment for our family. We appreciated having 2 bedrooms and twin beds for our children. The host was helpful and easy to communicate with before and during our stay. Very well stocked apartment with additional items such as spices, coffee, etc. to enhance the experience. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment. The apartment is on a very quiet street...even with the construction going on, we found it did not disturb us.

We were fully aware that the apartment is not in central Brugge, so it is a 15-20 minute walk to the centre. We didn't mind as this gave us opportunities to explore (our family enjoyed watching the bridges lift to allow cargo to go through), but this is something to know when booking. There are stairs in the apartment, so if mobility is a concern please be aware of this. It was not an issue for us.

Great location, well equipped clean modern apartment. Great communication from host who even looked for my lost earring after we had left! Happy to go back next time we are in Bruges. Thank you

Few steps up into the apartment a narrow depth so possibly not good for those with mobility issues. We were fine. Also a purely personal thing but not too sure about the art work on the walls, although a very respected Belgian artist, not to our taste and not giving off a 'holiday' vibe. Maybe change a couple to pictures of Bruges itself by the seating area?

The apartment was fully equipped although we didn’t use all the facilities much. Everything was rather new and very clean. There are a lot of towels, linen , different types of shampoo, coffee, sugar, etc. The location is good. It takes you 10 minutes walk to get to the centre. The sound isolation is good. The place is very quiet.

Two main problems: only one toilette located on the first floor , whereas the two bedrooms are located on the second floor. It can be a problem for elderly people and children due to the steep and narrow staircase. And the second problem (which does no depend on the owner), is the noise started early in the morning from the road being repaired, although as I wrote above, it is a very quiet place!

The facilities were exceptional from cutlery to cleaning material, dishwasher, and washing machine tablets/liquid supplied, salt pepper etc . Host was briliant. Short walk to bus to centre of bruges

Stairs are very steep. Mosquitos were ferocious

The flat is well equipped, clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located to walk into central Bruges.
