On our way to Antwerp, first stop

I chose somewhere outside Antwerp to get more for my money and have parking, with a view to travel in by tram which worked well and was cheap and easy. Big, spacious apartment - full of period character and well equipped. Surrounding area was pleasant, quiet and safe - a very nice street with some great houses.

Accommodation is a town house on three levels so lots of going up and down stairs - ok for a one/two night stop but would be tiresome for a longer stay. The freezer emitted a beeping noise for the duration of our stay - it froze ok but didn't seem to recognise it was at temperature.

Location perfect as trains, trams and buses were within five minutes walk. There were many restaurants and cafes close by, as well as supermarkets for provisions.

Nothing

The apartment is very spacious, equipped with everything necessary and spotless. It is very good value for a big space. The location is perfect in the center, convenient for shopping and exploring Antwerp. It is easy to use the car to visit Bruges, Ghent or Brussels. The tram, restaurants and shops are close.

Nothing bad to say. Everything was perfect.

you want for nothing it’s massive, it is very very good value could easily take a family there you get suite space for budget hotel money. There is everything you need and the owners are just downstairs if you need any help and they are just lovely.

you have to understand it is an older fashion property it’s a little like a memory lane trip it reminded me of my Grandmas house. It does have everything you need and more but it is a little old fashioned. The place is spotless and has everything so don’t let that put you off.
