The son of the owner deserves a compliment, because he did his absolute best to calm his agitated mother and be a reasonable host to us. He was the one who understood that to receive trust from a guest you have to give some too.

We were unaware that a deposit of 200 euro was needed. This is hidden deep in the conditions and sent via e-mail after booking, but we booked a few hours in advance so didn't read it yet. Paying the desposit was not an issue so when we arrived carrying all our bags I asked the owner's son if I could take care of it right after dropping the bags in the room. He was OK with that. Then his mother arrived on the scene, almost immediately screaming at us (in Chinese and French). Her son explained that she wouldn't let us enter the rooms without paying the deposit. I reminded him of the agreement we just made. He had to argue with his mother to convince her to let us drop the bags. Of course I paid the deposit (which can only be done by bank transfer) immediately after. Then we realised there were no towels. The fine print shows these are only available for an extra fee, so we decided to buy some towels at the beach. After coming back from dinner we realised there was no bedlinnen on the beds. I tried to contact them via 3 different numbers, but to no avail. Later we realised the bedlinnen was hidden on the top shelf of the closets. We were kept awake until 3 AM by our upstairs neigbors making sounds like they were moving furniture. It turns out they did. The next morning there was police because they had trashed the room. All in all we paid a high price for a lousy experience, because of lack of trust, lack of service and lack of sleep.

L’emplacement

Die Wohnung war so wie beschrieben. Meerblick vom Essbereich. Einrichting rustikal und einfach. Ein Schlafzimmer an der Nebenstraße gelegen. Das andere hinten zu einem dunklen ruhigen Innenhof. Matratzen hart und gut. Die Ansprechpartner sind sehr freundlich.

Wir hatten das Appartement von der ersten Etage, das wir nicht empfehlen können! Darunter liegt ein Schnellrestaurant. Die Belüftungsanlage der Friteuse ist direkt neben den Fenster des Essbereiches montiert. Diese läuft von 11.00 bis 22.30 Uhr. Störend ist nicht nur den Krach, sondern auch den Gestank von Frittenfett sowie man ein Fenster öffnet. Vor dem Haus fährt die Straßenbahn. Die Erschütterungen sind deutlicht zu spüren. Daran muss man sich gewöhnen. Die Bewohner von der 2. Etage sind sehr deutlich zu hören, wie zum Beispiel bei spielenden Kindern.

On entend beaucoup le bruit des autres appartements.

Één beetje meer ruimte

Très proche de la mer, rue principale avec restaurants et magasins, parking privée, appartement suffisant pour 2 adultes 2 enfants, propriétaires tres accueillant et disponible. Nous avons passé un chouette séjour la bas et nous conseillons cette appartement

Pas évident de monter les 2 étages avec un bébé, une chambre un peu petite avec le lit parapluie et parking privée mais pas tout près.
