the location was amazing, right in the heart of Brussels!

Nothing!

I felt extremely unsafe and I was traveling alone. I went to the property to make sure that I knew where it was because I was traveling alone, as I do the majority of the time. I was told by the host that it was on the second floor. There were 2-3 men standing outside the door and when I asked for directions they gathered all around me and told me there was no such address. They kept telling me that they had apartment next door that I could go to. I called the host, he gave me the code to go in and check. While on the phone with the host, I went in and it was dark and narrow. I proceeded up the stairs, but couldn’t find any of the markers that he was telling me to look for. I kept going and still did not see #6, then he was going to have me walk beck down some stairs and go through a cafeteria. I felt very, very comfortable because I couldn’t trust the host and the men that I had encountered outside were still making me uneasy. I told the host that I felt very uncomfortable about staying there and after going up over 100 steps I still hadn’t found the apartment. I told him that I wouldn’t be able to sleep. He basically said too bad, that he wasn’t afraid to stay there and I shouldn’t either. I called Booking.com crying, they told me that they would find me another place and call me back…..they never did! I called the host again and he was screaming and yelling at me because I asked him to please refund my money. He refused, and was extremely rude. This place is clearly under new management and not the one that received such rave reviews. I was forced to pay for a place that I didn’t feel safe staying in. All he is worried about is the money, not the customer and Booking.com still has never called me back. Don’t give them any money! I had to contact my credit card company to get my deposit back too! The host needs to do the right thing!

The location give direct access to Grand Place along with a view of the square. We stayed here for the Brussels Flower Festival and we could see the light show from the window. We would definitely stay here again if we wind up back in Brussels.

It is a little adventure to get through the building to the room. It is in a historical area so the building is a little bit of a maze which is kind of cool but also a bit strange. Also, be aware that you will have to give a deposit separately from your booking fee in order to receive the codes for the room keys.

Very good locations!! Air conditioning is also equipped.

The following thing is acceptable for me, but there are about 100 steps to reach this room. Light baggage is fine. Bed quality is a little bit low. But comparing the location, it is completely OK.
