Moana Seaside Retreat - 2 Bedroom, spa , living area & pet friendly

Location, spacious, provided everything we needed. Main bedroom looks fantastic. Love the couch/recliner. Timely communication for gaining access and what to do on arrival and departure. Clear detailed instructions.

There are areas of the property that are a little tired in places and may need updating over time. However, it is obvious that some areas have been updated.

Proximity to beach and cafe were perfect. I liked how the bedrooms and living space/kitchen were on different levels, teen girls were able to have some separate space from the adults which they liked!

It was all great for our weekend getaway

The location is excellent, just 30 seconds to the beach! The accommodation was lovely, clean and quite spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped so we were able to cook on the nights we were there.

Fantastic location just off the Esplanade. The kids (big and small) loved the spa! Super comfy with plenty of space for all the family

I thought cleanliness was below par it was a little dusty ,also cobwebs in the corners of the floor and at the corners of the kitchen cabinetry , some of the kitchen cupboards could do with a wipe through. The kettle was dirty I cleaned it with vinegar and boiled with water . Not sure if I am being picky...... The extreme cleanliness I have experienced in the past at other places we have stayed .

Everything was brilliant! We walked in after a long drive from interstate and were able to have a big cuppa with milk! No need to go out again to the shop for the essentials! Everything you needed was provided! Even access to streaming services. The lounge was lovely the views excellent the care nearby was great too! We had waffles for breakfast there and they were delicious. Spa was great and the king size bed was sooooo comfy . Loads of linen blankets quits towels etc our German shepherd had the best time lots of walks on the amazing beach about 50 metres from the front door. Outdoor area/balcony was great with lovely view of the ocean. Secure clean and user friendly apartment very pet friendly too. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for such an easy relaxing stress free stay.

It was beyond generous! The cupboards were full of necessities from kitchen items to bathroom items to board games and DVDs. Washing machine with laundry equipment and washing liquids. Coffee machine, BBQ. Huge breakfast bar. Beds were so soft and warm! Spa bath. TV's in every room. It was like a house away from home and very luxurious! Beyond anything I could have imagined. The photos don't do it justice! The bathroom was amazing and huge! Definitely my favourite! Even had a swinging egg chair outside me and my kids loved! And it was over looking the beach! What more could you want? Also the house was decorated with beachy vibes and colours and pictures on the wall which I loved! We even were able to get early check in on late notice and fast replies. Also lots of communication via the app from the owners. Free beach access provided

There was nothing I didn't like as it was beyond amazing but a couple things that might need mentioning for maintenance aspects. The top sliding door that leads out to the balcony is a bit dodgy and my daughter had accidentally locked us outside as she was fiddling with the door while I was preoccupied on the phone. She was besides herself for 15 mins and I thought we might have had to call the owners as her little hands couldn't unlock it. I did have the keys in my pocket but nothing actually fit the door. Eventually she was able to unlock it and there was a key on the inside which I than took out of the door so she couldn't do it again. The washing machine is super loud when it's near the end and spinning. I put a load on the first night we were there which took about 3 hours and kept me awake! I was waiting for a knock at the door to keep the noise down. And then it started beeping when it was done so the next load of washing went on during the day! Kind of wish there was a drying or possibly outside clothes hanger but we did have a clothes horse it just took longer to dry inside so I eventually moved it outside. The coffee machine didn't come with instructions and took me a while to figure out how to use it as I haven't used a capsule coffee machine before. The batteries in the sound bar remote were leaking and I figured out the extension cord was not working for it either so I plugged it directly into the wall and was able to get it working directly on the sound bar. Only thing I didn't like was having to clean my own dishes and put them away and take the bins out upon departure which added time to me leaving. Packing everything back up again and the car and getting the kids ready and leaving on time is always a little stressful. But in a heart beat I would definitely be going back! Moana is such a lovely place to stay! We did not want to leave! And the price was beyond generous! Thank you so much for our amazing stay!
