"Don't stay here unless you are ready to loose your 1000 euro deposit."

1.0

The location is great. The apartment is brand new and luminous.

The evening when I arrived in the apartment, it was not clean. There were lots of black hairs on the bedsheets. I informed the company - The Good Agency - who's renting out the apartment. My contact at this company - Christelle - offered me to change the bedsheets the next day, but since I had to sleep in the bed the same evening this wasn't a great solution. So I had to wash the bedsheets myself. One evening I left the key inside the apartment on the kitch table (the door to the apartment is self-locking). I called Christelle and she told me someone would bring me a second key. She asked me to tip the guy who would bring the key. Then she called again and told me the tip should be 80 euro. I thought this was a random and high amount for a tip, but since I was locked out I had no choice. I offered to pick up the key myself which was no option for her. Since I was locked out of the apartment, all of my belongings were inside so I had no cash. So Christelle told me she would take 80 euro from my deposit. When I checked out, I found out Christelle reserved 205,70 on my creditcard. I contacted her and she informed me she also charged a 'management fee'. She told me 205,70 is a fair price, because a locksmith (which was never in question since the key wasn't inside the lock) whould have cost at least double the price according to her. The evening I called her she had told me a locksmith would have cost me 150 euro in case the key whould have been inside the lock. I asked for a specification of the costs which I never received even though I requested it several times. The Good Agency took advantage of the situation. I feel mistreated. On google there are more bad reviews about this company and I would not recommend staying in this apartment because of their tendency to withold unjistified amounts of money from your deposit.
