Stylish Terrace Apartment in Antwerp

Lovely apartment!

Hard work getting to apartment....need to climb several flights of stairs.

Place is nice and clean with nice cooking facilities. Good value if midweek, but weekend prices are rediculous.

I always get bitten by very badly (and painfully) by mosquitos in this apartment. I don't get this in other hotels/aparts in Antwerp. They need to investigate this as could be a nest in the room, esp with the high ceilings. On the very top floor of building so lots and lots of steps.They always want city tax in cash only which isnt ideal.

V friendly in all communications - e mail and when i collected the key. Really smart place, very happy with my stay. Location was excellent. I would definitely recommend and would book again if in Antwerpen again. Dank u wel // Merci // Thank you

It was spacious.

I booked this apartment because I’ve have had a busy week and needed some rest and not travel back and forth between Antwerp and The Netherlands. I did not end up staying, because It was dirty, not cleaned well and the walls have so many weird, dirty scuffs and spots. Two large windows didn’t have any curtains. So it wouldn’t have been dark in the room. And it smelled bad. I really did not feel comfortable to stay and sleep there, so decided to leave and book a hotel. Best choice I made!

Apartment was clean enough. No bedbuggs. I was afraid a place like this might have bedbuggs, but I didn't see any and did not find any trace of them. Good fridge/kitchen. Good central location.

Was there for 7 days and they only gave me 1 bath towel. When I asked for more they only gave me 1 more and the extra towel they provided was in a bag with hair inside of it. Because of this I had to buy a large pack of paper towels and use that after I showered. When I made the booking I asked if they could provide a fan because there is no AC and I was traveling in July. They said they could. When I arrived at the apartment there was no fan, when I asked for it once again, they told me they cant provide it. Because there is no AC or fan you have to have the windows open when its warm, because of this I got 4 mosquito bites during my stay. The shower head has low pressure. There is a lot of noise from the traffic outside, even if all windows are closed. This continues all night, every single day. So you need to have earplug's. Two of the windows lack sun shade drapes, so if you want o sleep during the day you will sleep in the light. The pillows, blanket and bed sheeting are worn. Many steep stairs, no elevator, but its an old building so its understandable.

Everything is perfect. Location is close to the central square also the river museum. Kitchen has everything you need except oil, downstair is a supermarket, very convenient to buy any food. And it’s really clean enough everywhere in the apartment. I will choose here again next time.
