Location and view excellent

No wifi or tv’s that worked in the entire apartment.

I liked the appartment, nicely furnished, great view, quiet, private, nice pool.

THE STAIRS. Booking .com should be made aware that there are 70 steppes to the appt. No reception as this is a privaye appt managed by the owner externally. So think about bringing your luggage up there in a 32° heat. Also a person with mobility issues could not get up to the appt, no lift and no one there to help with luggage. The owner is also not very communicative. No compendium in the appt which is badly needed. The washing machine did not work, the bbq did not work, the tv has no instruction manual and is rather complicated to operate without a manual. I was re-imbursed a compensation for the washing machine and the bbq was fixed. I will give the appt a 5 rating because of the lack of communication, of the owner certainly not being very welcoming and no mention of the 70 steppes. I would not stay there again eventhough the appt is beautiful.

The apartment is spacious and open plan with the kitchen, dining, lounge opening up onto a large well equipped verandah with a wonderful view. The apartment accommodates 6 adults very comfortably. We loved where we stayed. people mention the stairs but seriously we parked the van on the day we arrived and did not use it again until 5 days later when we left. We walked to the numerous bars and restaurants in town. Walked to the local shopping centre and butchers and walked to the marina to catch a catamaran to the outer reef. Our Daintree tour operator picked us up at the bottom of the driveway, it could not of worked any better. There are very few places in Port Douglas that offer a view, particularly of the beach, the view is tremendous. The pool was great and parking was not a problem for the high top van we were travelling in.

This property blew me and my family away. The pictures simply don't do it justice. It's HUGE, homely and super comfortable, with everything you could need for a family getaway. The view was breathtaking, better than any restaurants in town, and we found ourselves making the most of the outdoor and indoor dining settings most nights as we couldn't beat it! I read the reviews about there 'being a lot of stairs to get in', I was 16 weeks pregnant and had four over 60s with me, and we honestly found it fine. Yes there were stairs, but they weren't as bad as the reviews made them seem...and it's all worth it for that aspect. The house was pristine when we entered, and set up like a hotel with lovely finishing touches. We all loved it, and found it super comfortable with 6 adults sharing the space. Brilliant value for money.

I honestly have nothing to complain about.
