Situation. Logement spacieux. Dame qui s’occupe de l’accueil sympathique

Propreté de la cuisine. La vaisselle et les ustensiles ca va encore mais le frigo, le four, le micro-ondes, ... Tout laisse à désirer. Ce n'est pas un problème avec le dernier locataire. C'est de la poussièremélangéé à de la graisse qui n’ont pas vu une éponge depuis bien longtemps.

I was able to arrange a time directly with the host. They were waiting on arrival.

The host was very rude and disrespectful to me the whole time, starting from the fact that he scammed me upon booking, and the apartment doesn't even meet the basic hospitality requirements! Stay away from this scam! The apartment doesn't include sheets, nor towels, nor any sort of toiletries. The absence of sheets and towels is not explicitly indicated anywhere, and toiletries are mentioned in the ad but they were not there at all! I only found out 3 days after booking my stay, when the owner informed me of this via message and told me to bring my own toiletries, towel, and bedsheets. At this point, I requested to cancel the booking, but the owner refused my request, and so I had to travel with all the extra baggage, which was very inconvenient. Communication with the owner was incredibly hard the whole time because he refuses to speak any language other than French and always replied days later. On the day of our arrival, my friend and I had issues with train cancellations and delays, and we were only able to reach the apartment 3 hours later than intended. I promptly tried to notify the owner about this several hours before our arrival, but it was impossible to get in touch with him (he only replied to me 3 days later) , and I had to call Booking's helpdesk twice so that they could at least notify the person that is in charge of handing the keys. When we finally reached the apartment, the person who handed us the keys was also incredibly rude to us: she refused to speak English despite clearly knowing the language and only spoke French, she was visibly annoyed the whole time, and she even complained about us being late, which was out of our control, and she knew was going to happen because we notified her as soon as possible! Two days after our stay I told the owner that his attitude had not been helpful at all, and actually caused problems, and he made fun of me by replying with a sarcastic "merci".

Host greeted us on our arrival, showed the place, handed the keys, and with a little help from the translator we've got all the answers we needed for our short stay.
