Central Park Apartments

The apartment is a great size, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The location was good for us, close to the Kosher shops and restaurants. Kitchen had a large fridge.

The shower was lacking a holder so wasn't really useable. There was also no shower curtain. The toilet seat was also loose.

Prefer to have curtains for all glass doors and windows.

The location was the only good thing. Nothing else.

The house rules stated that we should not be making noise after 10 PM which is why we did not even go to the balcony, but we were troubled by others living a floor above whole night. There was so much noise of people moving furniture, loud conversations etc. It was so prominent that we even could record it. The blankets and bedsheets were smelling as if they were not washed. We could not use many of them and use perfumes to get over the smell. Except the main door, many of other ones either had broken handles and latches or no handle/latches. In fact the main bathroom latch was horrible; just stuck on two nails. A minor push would open the door for anyone. The owner was interactive only till she got the deposit amount credited to her account and later on there was zero interest on other questions/help that we were looking for. Booking.com should look into it and refund the money because I did not pay for such a terrible experience.

The location of this apartment is exceptional, everything we needed/wanted to see and do was within walking distance. There was plenty of space for 11 of us within a family unit despite sleeping arrangements being a little odd. There is no parking but there is a multistorey car park just around the corner should you need it. All in all, the stay was just what we needed and there were no significant issues.

There are no handles on the windows in the bathroom or the rear bedroom, which not only leaves the rooms stuffy but is a major fire safety concern. The shower could do with being connected to the wall and the bathroom door handle being replaced. Whilst the apartment appears clean, the floors were filthy and could do with a proper deep clean.

Dishwasher cannot be opened. Air conditioning - no remote found to operate. No curtains in tub shower area.

the property is spacious and in a good location but in poor condition.

the host requested €200 as a deposit before giving us the key code to enter the property. we paid as requested and left the apartment in clean condition but she refunded €190 then ignored all our messages asking for it back. the property as DOES NOT have wifi, no tv. there’s no light in the toilet and the air condition beeps all night. lights flicker and the neighbours bang on the walls loudly every so often. very poor quality of sleep with all the noise and hassle.
