Great location for seeing Ypres

Apartment was beautiful and clean, great facilities. It was only a 5 minute walk to the centre. Had a lovely weekend. Thankyou

Exceptional space and facilities including high quality furnishings , large living-room/ dining room, bathroom bedrooms and terrace. Host runs a cookERY school on the ground floor and readily invited me to share a beer with him and the cooks. Good beer on offer and tourist information in the flat. Good location in Ypres. I would highly recommend it as a base to visit Ypres and surrounding WW 1 sites ( and cookery school).

What a fantastic find! The property was great – spacious, extremely well-equipped and a little quirky (which added to the fun of staying there). Our host, Serge, went way beyond our expectations, particularly in helping us make the most of our short stay in Ypres. It seems he is both very well-known and very well-connected locally! There were no negatives – highly recommended.

This place is an absolute treat as is the host. The place is immaculate, located an easy amble from the centre and has lots of very nice little touches about it. I won't list them all because I wouldn't want to spoil the hand over from the host but to give you a taster; you will not want for coffee and the sound system has pre-loaded playlists to cover a range of occasions and tastes. There is a well stocked 'honesty' bar if you fancied something to sup while you watch the sun go down from the roof terrace. The host is great - if you have never been to Ypres before or you want some local insight he is a trove of good information. Don't be put off by the lack of dedicated parking - you can generally get right outside the door to load/unload and there is ample free parking a stones throw away.

Absolutely fantastic apartment..very spacious and everything is top quality... the furnishings, the gadgets, and especially the host Serge. We loved the beer cabinet! For reference entrance to property is on ground floor, you then walk up one flight of stairs to living area (including garden terrace) and kitchen plus one bathroom. Then up another flight of stairs to two bedrooms and family bathroom.

All was perfect.

The apartment is very well equipped for self catering. Or host Serge was really welcoming, very friendly and offered us all kinds of help and treats during our stay. We really appreciated having the terrace to sit out on.

The apartment was thoughtfully presented, every need catered for. We particularly liked the kitchen facilities and the lovely terrace.

Nothing, it fitted our needs perfectly.
