The Fashion Street Apartments

The building is in a nice area of the old town, but don’t be fooled. The so-called ‘fashionable’ title of the apartment makes no sense, as the furnishings inside are anything but stylish. Instead, you’ll find old, broken, and outdated furniture. The apartment was filthy and had a bad odor, with rude and unprofessional cleaning staff. The host was unpleasant, and having to pick up keys across the city while hauling luggage made the experience even worse. They should really implement a more convenient system, like interior key locks, to improve the stay.

My stay was a huge disappointment, with the apartment’s condition being completely at odds with its advertised ‘fashionable’ label, making for an uncomfortable experience.

Bog bedrooms. Price and quality match. Chrap but also very basic rooms.

2nd bedroom is 1 floor lower. So people have to get through the cold hallway at night for the toilet. The beds for 12 people are like 6 of them just matrasses stored ubderneat the normal 6 beds.

It was dirty. House does not look like photos. The linens were smelly The house was hot and not ventilated The water was brown The neighbors were Crack heads that pull the fire alarm at 6am It's not secured and there should be cameras

The location was nice

The flat did not appear clean. The door knob was barely working We saw a mouse and the owners left us to sleep in that flat for two more nights without doing anything

just the position

First of all, the host is absolutely not willing to help you for a delayed checkin. I understand it was described, but most of other apartments in Antwerp have the opportunity to get in with a self check-in. If you have the flight in Charleroi landing in the afternoon it is impossible to get in. For me this is absolutely bad. Second, the place to take the key is really far from the apartment, this is crazy. The guest should travel around the city to take the key and at the same time respect the check in time; all this activities with you bags. Third, the quality of the apartment was bad, not really clean and the bathroom with an unpleasant smell. The towels were really few, unbelievable. I can’t comment the living room since I refused to spend time there. I would not recommend this apartment.

Great location. Good lunch across the street. Fine apartment to stay in with a group of friends visiting town.

Check in is a 15+ minute walk away. One couch is uncomfortable to sit on, and probably worse to sleep in. The large bedroom consists of 2 double beds instead of 1 double and 2 separate beds.

Fantastic location, near shops and restaurants. Main section of apartment was good.

Didn't realise that the two bedrooms were on different levels with a public staircase connecting them. This meant we had to ensure both doors were locked at night. The toilet was on a different section to one of the bedrooms.
