Cool Central Apartment

It's a very big place and can host 4 or 5 guests with comfort. Two isolated rooms. It's close to a restaurant called Happy Grill, which we consider the best in Sofia.

We had an elderly on our group and the house requires to go up 3 flights of stairs. For many groups, this will not be a problem at all, but keep this in mind when choosing. The house is old, the toilet is not the best, but for many groups, this will not matter at all. If you are looking for space, this is your place, if you are looking for luxury, it may not be the best choice. Its from a private owner, you need to synchronize your arrival to get the keys.

Huge apartment with character on 2nd floor with a lot of natural lighting. Very private with no shared walls with neighbors. Decent location on a pedestrian street right next to produce market and short walk to all the major sights. Walkable from train/bus station, although you can easily take public transport close by. Lot of couches, chairs. There is a microwave! Host was really nice, met us, explained what to see/do in Sofia. Nice touch: made us tasty fresh lemonade, left fresh apples. Easy payment handled directly by booking via credit card.

Overall very nice stay and we would stay again, but note it is an older apartment with a lot of character, so not all facilities are most modern. Example, floor is a little creaky. As is often the case in apartments in the region, water from shower wets the whole bathroom floor, although host provided a mop. Sofas & coverings are a bit older. Some things the host can do to improve the experience further: improve lighting in the apartment (night), toss out older stuff from kitchen and also give apartment a thorough deep clean.

Colorful and spacious apartment, the host Georgi is very helpful and the location is just perfect! 1 min from the Women’s Market, 2 min from metro/heart of the city centre.

This is a really cool apartment (it’s in the name) and the location is great, not just because it is very central, but because it’s very quiet at night and helps to get a good sleep. The style and creativity with which it’s been put together & furnished give it a unique charm and I like that it’s in such an old building, but youthful on the inside. The host is very helpful and responds quickly to any queries or issues you might have.

I was there while it was minus temperatures in Sofia and as the apartment isn’t insulated very well, I could feel some of that cold inside too.
