Sophisticated Gem with Private parking

The tiny toilet was fine for us but the water (from the water heater over the toilet) dripping on your back while using the toilet was not good. Pillow covers and blanket cover need to be replaced. They were old and had pilling all over them which was not comfortable to touch while you sleep. Glasses were dirty (but we can cleaned them ourselves) however Mugs need to be replaced. There were cracked lines at the bottom of all mugs which unpleasant to use.

Great location, great parking, easy communication from host and easy contactless check-in. AC heats up the unit nicely. Nice full mirror in the bedroom.

The bathroom was the smallest we’ve ever seen with a sink so small that I brushed my teeth in the kitchen. The bedsheets were extremely old, dingy, and pilled, and the pillows were old as well. It was just a disappointing stay overall. It was really unpleasant to sleep in these old used sheets. If you want a nice comfortable place to feel like home, this is not it. This cost us $70, but a stay at the luxurious Sofia Balkan Palace was only $107, which we really regret not booking. It was not particularly clean once we looked closely, the coffee was empty and not restocked for us, and the remote to the AC in the kitchen was nowhere to be found so we had to shut that door to keep the cold inside the kitchen. The place is fine - you’ll live - but it’s just not cheap enough to justify the value.

Really nice location, easy access to all kinds of transport. The host is easily reachable, the apartment was clean and tidy, no issues with the neighbours.
