Heart of Balchik

The host was really nice and polite.She suggested what we could see and do in the area.The place is in a perfect location for the sea,restaurants,gardens,museums and walks.The views from the windows of the appartment are much more awesome than expected-especially the sight of the sea and mountains!

We liked everything!

We really enjoyed our stay, the location is very close to the beaches and also the restaurants and the Palace. The view from the room and from the yard, where you can take the breakfast outside and in the shade, is beautiful. The rooms were big, the air conditioning was a nice addition. We communicated really well with the host, and we can't wait to come back.

I really liked the apartment, it had everything one needed! I loved the small caring details, like coffee that was left there. The apartment has all this all rather vintage stuff that some might not like, but I personally enjoyed it, as it reminded me of my childhood. I also appreciate the fact that despite the furniture being old, it was very clean and the bed was new and comfortable to sleep in. The same goes for the very small food preparation appliances, I really loved those, it was like they were from hobbit's house and made the process of cooking slow and enjoyable! And, of course, the view is amazing 🥰.

The location of the apartment was excellent. It was a very short stroll to the waterfront and restaurants. The communication with the host was easy with quick responses. We did not get to meet the host, but his grandmother was there to give us keys. She did not speak English, but graciously showed us where we could park, and was very welcoming. The apartment is spacious and has a lovely view of the sea. There is a nice table and chairs to sit and enjoy the view. The kitchen is very minimal, but it had basics, like fridge, hot plate and microwave. The apartment has some locked cabinets with family heirlooms and decorative displays, and also cabinets for your personal items. The shower in the bathroom was nice with good pressure. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting the town of Balchik.

The bed was a little firm for me, but that is a personal preference. I would have liked a coffee maker of some kind. These are small thing. The town of Balchik was lovely, but much of an actual sandy beach in the center.
