Panoramic view on beach, ships, sea - place to be

We booked the appartement and the parking. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the parking box and our car and bikes were stuck from friday evening until saturday night (2am). We reported the problem on friday, the owner went by on saturday at 1 am in the night. We had to get up help fix the problem. After our stay, we kindly asked for a compensation for the inconvenience caused (for example the 70€ that we paid for the parking box). The owned agreed to give us the money for the parking back « if we wrote a splendid comment on Booking ». Other point a rotating camera is installed on the balcony and was activated several times when we were there.

Very good location with a great view of the dyke and the sea. A parking space in the underground garage can be booked as an option for 35€/night. However, 200 metres away there is a public parking garage for 27€/night, which also offers many charging stations for e-cars. The flat itself is very large. There is a spacious living room with a panoramic window, a large corner leather sofa and an open kitchen. In addition, there is a children's room with a loft bed, wardrobe and adjoining shower + sink and a small balcony to the backyard. However, the room is very dark and the backyard is not nice. The furnishing and atmosphere of the room is also very uncharitable and not very cosy. In the hallway there is a toilet with a sink. At the end, the master bedroom with a large wardrobe and adjoining bathroom with bathtub, toilet and double washbasin.

Actually a nice flat. Unfortunately, the hygiene left a lot to be desired. The toilet was not properly cleaned, the walls had numerous scratches and stains, the beds were full of hasre, the pillows had yellow stains, the shower had traces of mould and windows were partly very dirty. Unfortunately not acceptable for the price. The flat cost me over 800 euros (almost a whole month's salary) for 3 nights! But it was worth it to me, as the previous reviews were all very positive and I had given the weekend to my mother as a present for her 70th birthday. But at this price I really would have expected more. We immediately reported it to the property management and the owner. After asking again, the owner told us that this was not a defect, as the flat had been in use since 2007, that these were normal signs of use and that you would find hair in the beds even in a 5-star hotel. I was offered a 50 euro discount. But only on the condition that I write a positive review. In the end, it was annoying, but I gave up the 50 euros in favour of an honest feedback. However, I have to admit that the owner reported the deficiencies to the property management and hopefully they will pay more attention to cleanliness and an acceptable price/performance ratio for future guests.
