Everything was perfect. Host really nice and helpful, providing a lot of tips. Apartment is very spacious, fully equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. It's located in a quiet area, walking distance from the center.

Tsetso, the host was incredibly welcoming and super helpful and responsive. The bed was so comfortable, and the flat was incredibly well equipped and spacious and the balcony was lovely to sit out on (just wear bug spray). The location was about a 20 min walk into old town and main sites, and the neighbourhood was safe and quiet. There is a fresh fruit and veg Market opposite and the nearest supermarket is about 5 mins away and is well stocked. The best place we have had in Bulgaria so far. Highly recommend. We loved Veliko Tarnovo and will definitely be back!

The only thing to mention is that there isn't an elevator in the building and you have to walk up several flights of stairs. It was fine for us, but not ideal for people with mobility issues.
