Apartment St-Anna

Location was excellent

Apart from the sheets and towels, it seems like the apartment has not been thoroughly cleaned for a while. In the long list of instructions, we were asked to remove all sheets, sweep the floor, clean the kitchen.... host is very strict.

The big living space was a great benefit.

There was a bad smell in the hallway outside the apartment (inside the apartment was fine).

Lovely canal view from the apartment. Easy walk into centre. Warm, comfortable apartment, had everything we needed.

Clearer instruction on location of property and car parking would have been helpful. Maybe email the map prior to arrival. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and gave clear instruction on how to get to the car park. The apartment above had a family with young children who were naturally up early but they were very noisy! It’s an old building with no sound proofing. If you like a quiet start to the day… as we do… this may not be the place for that. Also due to the apartment being on the Winter Lights route there were noisy groups passing late into the night.

Excellent location, lots of space and comfortable beds. Just right for a group of six, although can sleep up to 9. Two toilets and two showers.

Very well located. Close to the main places to see in the city (Grote Markt, Burg, all the main museums etc.). Close to supermarkets too. The apartment was very clean, comfort and cozy, with all necessary supplies.

The owner of the apartment seems to have had bad experiences with previous guests, as she excessively emphasizes the need to comply with the rules of the accommodation, seeming unreceptive.

Good location 5 minutes walk from central squares but quiet. Very spacious apartment

The views were amazing. The shower was great and the bed was really comfortable!

Regimented guidance regarding do’s and do nots. Total rental charge included cleaning fee, but we were required, amongst other things to strip the beds and sweep the floors on departure. We as a family take pride in being clean and considerate to the owner of the property that we are staying in, but the written list of requirements took it to another level. Constantly on egg shells. I guess this has come about due to the inconsiderate few but at the expense of the considerate!.
