Beautiful ocean views. Lots of peace and quiet. Property manager contacted us after a few days and offered to have a maid come which was nice. We chose not to do this and just enjoy the peace and quiet and the manager respected our wishes. We had to check out early in the morning due to an early morning plane ride out. They met us at 6am to accommodate us to give the keys back with no hassle. Unit was very clean. If you love animals and would like to learn of the kind people in the town then read below: You know what is really nice about the town and the people is their attitude toward others and even stray animals. There are stray animals (feral) as we refer to them in the US. But in Varna we saw a woman going to shop in Lidl who took several minutes to love on the feral dogs at the entrance. The dogs were not starving. They responded with warmth and affection. People obviously were feeding them out of kindness as part of society. We saw animals like this at the beach and near the unit. Stray cats and dogs. But the difference is they would come up to you like they were socialized and were wonderful. Even the cats would come up to you. This is the first time in my life I have ever seen such kindness in society toward stray animals. People didn't make the animals feel like they were unwanted and in return the animals showed love and attention to everyone willing to engage them. It wasn't a major amount but I really loved what we saw, It shows a lot of good things about the character and morality of the people in the area. No I am not making this up. During World War 2 Bulgarians refused to send Jews to Auschwitz and instead put them on trains and sent the trains around the country for the duration of the war. They acted like they were sending them off to throw off the Nazi's but never let the trains leave. I was told this before visiting Bulgaria. I saw kindness that the elders passed on in the way the animals were treated.

A few very minor maintenance items like cabinet hardware is missing on a cabinet or two. Parking is a bit of an issue with luggage and groceries. You have to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to the elevator. It's just the way the units are built, so they are all the same. Just something to be aware of if you cannot climb stairs. Keep in mind I'm rating this a 10 out of 10 stay regardless of these issues and the owner was wonderful to work with. I feel bad putting this in any negative light because it really wasn't that bad.
