B&B Casa Trankilo

Nice location with very friendly hosts. A good place to stay if you don't expect luxury. The private entrance and courtyard were a nice touch. A cooler is available on request by the hosts to use during trips on the island.The 'beachy vibe' of the apartment was very nice.

The apartment needs maintenance. Walls, floors, doors are up for some serious updates. The automated kitchen light was not set properly and no alternative switch was available.The grass carpet outside was wet, moldy and had a bad smell since the airco was dripping directly on to it. This carpet needs to be removed/replaced as soon as possible. The apartment had some mayor steps leading up to the courtyard and made access very difficult. The fact that the apartment is not wheelchair/walker friendly would have been a reason for me not to rent the apartment. This needs to be included in the information!

Excellent location, the hosts were extremely pleasant . The pool was clean and wonderfully refreshing. The room was comfortable and the AC nice and cool!

This is a cost (8 apartments) very cost place with a swimming pool, surrounded by greenery. It comes with spacey bathroom and an outside kitchen (great idea in the tropics) where one can prepare simple meals. It located a short walk to the “center” of Kralendijk for an evening once cream or several restaurants. Lia and Jan are great hosts living in the small complex with an open door policy. You can get free snorkeling equipment, rent beach towels and get lots of useful information. A car is a must if you want to explore this small island. You can hire a car from the hosts. The place is strongly recommended.

Everything was great.

We were picked up from the airport and because we were a bit hungry and everything was already closed Jan and Lia offered us some yoghurt with muesli and fresh fruit, which was exactly what we needed at that time. We made use of the breakfast service which is really worth it! You can choose a night before what and when you want it and it was so nice! Jan and Lia are really friendly people and always there to help you!

Nothing. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back if we are visiting Bonaire again.

I loved everything about it. From the stocked outdoor kitchen. To the outdoor spaces to sit and read, the pool lounge area, the iguanas walking around. Oh and don't forget the parrots in the morning they were awesome. I am a solo world traveler and I have been to 16 no 17 countries now. This place is nice but what makes it so special and amazing are the caretakers they are wonderful.... I will remember my experience for the rest of my life.
