The girls working there are very nice and friendly

Was very disappointed with this pousada especially after reading such good reviews. The first night, I didn’t sleep at all as termites were falling from the wooden ceiling directly into the bed. 100s of them right on top of me- it was disgusting. Staff were apologetic and switched my room but no discount was offered. Second room looked good initially but on closer look was also pretty dirty. Lots of ants, spiders and cockroaches which i suppose is normal due to the surrounding nature but not nice to live in. Mattress and pillows were also hard and uncomfortable. Third day I woke up with a swollen and infected eye and decided to change pousadas. It is also the only pousada i have stayed in in Brazil that does not offer at least a coffee in the mornings.

Rodrigo is the definition of a perfect host. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay once more!
